Hoshisan Brass "Urokotori" Fish Scaler

Made in Sanjo, Niigata, this Japanese fish scaler has been designed to remove fish scales effectively without being too harsh. Crafted from brass which is softer than stainless steel, this scaler preserves the integrity of the fish skin and reduces the chances of damaging the ingredient. Furthermore, brass is resistant to rust and corrosion, keeping the tool easy to maintain while its serrated edge easily and effectively lifts and removes fish scales.
