Moribashi chopsticks are traditionally used for plating sashimi and delicate garnishing. The smooth rounded stainless steel tips provide exceptional control, and allow for handling delicate fish without damaging its structure.
Our Moribashi chopsticks are balanced at the point where the steel meets the ebony handle. Precisely balanced as all things should be. This allows for exceptional control and finesse, allowing you to easily aim the tips of the chopticks to a precise point. Our chopsticks also come with a saya and fabric roll, which can easily be transported with you while protecting the fine tips of the chopstick.
Apart from plating, you could also use these chopsticks for deep frying and picking out delicate ingredients from soups and stews (where tongs would break these ingredients). Honestly, it's something that you'll know when you need it.
